Display Ad Network ("we") runs advertising screens in local businesses and this website. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we do with it. We keep it short because we collect very little.
When you scan a QR code on a screen
Our QR codes go through a short link at displayadnet.work/q/ before sending you to the advertiser's page. For each scan we record the code, the time, the general type of device (iPhone, Android or other), an approximate city and region from your connection, and a one-way code that changes every day so we can count unique scans without knowing who you are. We do not store your IP address, name, phone number or any account information, and we do not set cookies on scans.
We use scan counts to report results to advertisers, in totals by zone, day and hour. Once you reach an advertiser's page, their own privacy policy applies.
When you fill out a form
If you ask for an ad mockup, express interest in hosting a screen, or book an Event Spotlight, we collect what you enter (such as your name, business, email, phone and address) to respond to you and provide the service. We keep it in our own systems and our customer records, and we email you about your request.
Payments
Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card or bank details.
Site analytics
This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies and without tracking you across other sites. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies.
Who we share data with
We don't sell personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the network (hosting, email delivery, payments, customer records and screen management), and only as needed to provide the service, or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Scan records are kept as long as needed for advertiser reporting and history. Contact details are kept while we're working with you and for a reasonable time after, unless you ask us to delete them.
Your choices
Ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. You can unsubscribe from any email we send.
Children
Our services are for businesses. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
