Watch. Scan. Visit.
Screens in local waiting areas play a short loop of 15-second ads. Each ad carries a QR code. We count every play and every scan, and every venue approves what runs on its walls.

Zones, loops and slots
Zones
A zone is about 8 screens in 4 to 6 neighboring businesses: a slice of Downtown, Preston Avenue, 29 North, Pantops or Crozet. Advertisers pick zones near their customers.
The 8-minute loop
Each zone runs its own 8-minute loop of 15-second spots, so an ad plays about 7 times an hour on every screen in the zone, all open hours.
A quarter for the venue
25% of every loop is venue and community content: specials, events, local art. It keeps the screen worth watching, so people keep looking up.
Ads that answer back
Every ad gets a short link and QR code for each zone it runs in. When someone scans, our tracker records the zone, the time and the type of phone (never names or personal details) and sends them straight to the advertiser's page.
- Proof of play. The screen software logs each time an ad runs, on each screen.
- Scans by zone and hour. See which neighborhoods and times respond.
- Offer codes. A code on the ad, redeemed at the register, ties views to sales.
- Monthly report. All of it on one page, plus what we'll test next.

The QR in the sample ads on this site is live. Point your phone at the screen in the photo and you'll land back here, counted like any real scan.

Three checks before an ad goes live
The advertiser
Approves the exact ad, in writing, before it runs. Changes are free within the included design.
Our content policy
Every ad is checked against our content policy, including Virginia rules for alcohol, legal, health and financial ads.
Each venue
Approves or declines each ad for its own screens. Silence for 48 hours (24 for events) counts as approval. A venue can pull an ad any time.
Built to stay on
- Commercial signage players that boot straight into the loop after a power cut.
- Ads download once and play from memory, so a Wi-Fi blip doesn't blank the screen.
- Every screen checks in all day. If one goes quiet we restart it remotely or send someone.
- Screens sleep outside the venue's open hours.
